[] is a Google Voice number, which get's forwarded to the best place to reach me (If I remember to reconfigure it.)
When I am home it will ring both my home phone and my mobile phone.
Some people think this means they can reach me 24/7. NOT NOT NOT
I don't answer the phone in the car, in the library, in meetings, in church when I'm sleeping , playing tennis, biking, running, having fun with one of my girlfriends , in the middle of dinner, ...

Voice Mail may go to a variety of places so the message may be confusing telling you to call google voice which you just called. Leave a message and I'll try to check every day or so.
If my mobile is off it will go to my landline.
If my mobile is on it will go to my mobile voicemail, which will also send a text.

There are places where I have WiFi but no mobile or land line voice service, so google hangouts on my laptop or Skype or ring to (GrooVe) on my tablet may be where it goes, but I need to have those turned on.

When I'm in California it may be forwarded to our cabin, a Sierra Club lodge.
When I'm traveling in Europe it may get routed to a local number which gets forward to a UK number configured in my SIM card.

It may also get forwarded to my Skype account, but I neet to have Skype turned on.

See California Contact Info. for more.
